The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Share Anger Over Sizing Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its measurement guidelines for female and kids' apparel without notifying every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The company said the new system was more in line with similar services.
It has advised users to review their products and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Accounts
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Manual Updates
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
